Your duties :

We are looking for a Mechanical Designer for a special machine design company in Chambly, France, to start immediately. Position 40 hours/week - Face-to-face (hybrid possible).
Reporting to the Mechanical Department Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

- Participate in the mechanical design of new products (or existing modifications)
- Thinking up new designs (machines or parts), new design solutions
- Provide input on special projects - Research new products
- Develop assembly methods
- Establish and analyze customer requirements to meet custom needs
- Other tasks related to design and mechanical engineering

- Diligent, meticulous and proactive
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage priorities
We\'re looking for someone who likes to innovate, find solutions and be creative. Our ideal candidate likes to respond to specific needs and make proposals.

Your profile :

- At least 2-5 years\' experience in a similar position
- French-speaking - professional level of English to deal with suppliers and customers
-DEC or BAC in mechanical engineering
-Knowledge and practice of Solidworks
-Salary: $60k - $85k depending on experience + benefits
- Face-to-face position (hybrid possibilities, full insurance, paid vacation negotiable according to experience.
