Responsibilities:

• Prepare and check layouts, arrangements, and detailed fabrication drawings
• Collaborate with drafting team, project managers, engineers, and production teams
• Provide technical support during the fabrication process
• Ensure compliance with project scope, specifications, and contract requirements
• Utilize AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and related software for design tasks
• Maintain accuracy and quality in all drawings and documentation
• Support continuous improvement in design processes
• Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering Design & Drafting Technology or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks; experience with PDM and CADWORX
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of ASME codes is an asset
• Ability to produce high-quality drawings on time
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Self-starter with strong organizational and time management abilities
• Experience in heavy industrial or steel industry preferred
