Actalent continue de renforcer ses capacit\xc3\xa9s d\'ing\xc3\xa9nierie \xc3\xa0 Montr\xc3\xa9al. Nous travaillons d\xe2\x80\x99un nouveau bureau de g\xc3\xa9nie-conseil \xc3\xa0 Ville Saint-Laurent et nous avons un environnement de travail tr\xc3\xa8s collaboratif et coh\xc3\xa9sif. La raison en arri\xc3\xa8re de ce poste est qu\'Actalent investit dans plusieurs embauches \xc3\xa0 long terme afin de cr\xc3\xa9er une masse critique au sein de son \xc3\xa9quipe m\xc3\xa9canique. Relevant du directeur de l\'ing\xc3\xa9nierie m\xc3\xa9canique, le concepteur m\xc3\xa9canique participera initialement \xc3\xa0 la cr\xc3\xa9ation, \xc3\xa0 la modification et \xc3\xa0 l\'am\xc3\xa9lioration des \xc3\xa9quipements et composants des cellules d\xe2\x80\x99essais de moteurs d\xe2\x80\x99avions.

T\xc3\xa2ches et responsabilit\xc3\xa9s principales:

1. Compl\xc3\xa9ter les conceptions finales des composants, assemblages et sous-ensembles en 3D

2. G\xc3\xa9n\xc3\xa9rer des dessins de fabrication et d\'assemblage en 2D.

3. Assister les chefs de projet ou d\'autres concepteurs selon les besoins

4. Fournir un soutien technique \xc3\xa0 la production des projets dont il/elle est responsable

5. Participer \xc3\xa0 l\'\xc3\xa9laboration des manuels d\'entretien et d\'exploitation, des instructions d\'installation et de toute documentation connexe

6. Avec peu de supervision, \xc3\xa9laborer, d\xc3\xa9finir et planifier le travail \xc3\xa0 partir d\'objectifs relativement clairs

7. Participer aux revues de conception

8. Effectuer toutes les autres t\xc3\xa2ches connexes.

Formation et exp\xc3\xa9rience :

• Dipl\xc3\xb4me de conception technique/de dessin ou toute autre exp\xc3\xa9rience \xc3\xa9quivalente
• Au moins huit (5) \xc3\xa0 dix (8) ans d\'exp\xc3\xa9rience en tant que concepteur
• Au moins cinq (5) ans d\'exp\xc3\xa9rience en conception sur AutoCAD Inventor
• Exp\xc3\xa9rience pertinente dans l\'industrie a\xc3\xa9rospatiale/cellules d\'essai ou dans un autre domaine pertinent
• Excellente connaissance d\'AutoCAD Inventor
• Bonne connaissance des normes de conception et de dessin
• Compr\xc3\xa9hension des processus de fabrication (tournage, fraisage, soudage, etc.)
• Connaissance de MS Office (Excel, Work, Outlook)
• Bilinguisme, parl\xc3\xa9 et \xc3\xa9crit (fran\xc3\xa7ais et anglais), un atout

Position Summary:

Actalent is a global leader in engineering services and is a subsidiary of the Allegis Group, North America\xe2\x80\x99s largest privately held human capital solutions company. Actalent is continuing to strengthen its engineering capabilities in Montreal. We work in a new engineering facility in Ville Saint-Laurent and have a very collaborative and cohesive work environment. The reason for this opening is that Actalent is investing in making several long-term hires to build a critical mass on its Mechanical Team. Reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Manager, the Mechanical Designer will initially on their first project support the creation, modification and improvements of engine test cell equipment and components used in Aerospace test cells.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Complete the final designs of 3D components, assemblies and sub-assemblies.

2. Generate manufacturing and assembly 2D drawings.

3. Assist project managers or other designers as required;

4. Provide technical support to the production of projects for which she/he is responsible;

5. Participate in the elaboration of maintenance & operations manuals, installation instructions and any related documentation;

6. With little supervision, elaborate, define and plan work from relatively clear objectives;

7. Participate in design reviews;

8. Perform all other related tasks.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Technical Design/Drafting Degree or any other equivalent experience;
• Minimum eight (5) to ten (8) years of experience as a designer
• Minimum five (5) years of design experience in AutoCAD Inventor
• Pertinent experience in the aerospace/test cell industry or other relevant field
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD Inventor
• Well versed in design and drafting standards
• Understanding of fabrication processes (turning, milling, welding, etc)
• Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Work, Outlook)
• Bilingual, spoken & written (French and English), an asset
