We have an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to perform design and management of mechanical, and piping systems for HVAC. Must be enthusiastic, and a talented team player. Applicant must be detail oriented, love challenges and enjoy contributing to the success of the team in a progressive work environment. Good communication skills, mechanical and technical knowledge is a must.

Qualifications and Skills

University degree in Mechanical Engineering, experience in relevant field, minimum 3-5 years of Industry experience

Minimum 3-5 years AutoCAD and SolidWorks experience in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant field

HVAC, Piping and Plumbing design experience.

Boiler design experience would be an asset

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Confidence to meet with clients and provide mechanical and technical information .

Prepare engineering design, specification, and/or recommendations for HVAC, plumbing, and piping

Field experience: Resolve mechanical/installation issues

Experience in manufacturing using steel products and design

Experience in hydronics an asset

Experience with ASME, CSA and Technical Safety

PEng status would be an asset
