Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Mechanical Design Engineer to join our client's innovative aerospace team. In this role, you'll lead and support the design and qualification of temperature, flow, and pressure sensors for advanced Environmental Control Systems (ECS). You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical excellence, compliance, and delivery of high-performance sensor solutions for cutting-edge aerospace applications.
Pay Rate: $65.00/hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities:
Lead and contribute to multiple sensor development projects, from concept through qualification.
Partner with engineering, testing, and program teams to conduct trade studies, define requirements, and develop/validate qualification plans.
Maintain technical coherence across engineering disciplines, ensuring compliance with all customer requirements and standards.
Review, validate, and approve design documentation, ensuring high-quality engineering outputs.
Represent the engineering team in customer design reviews, coordinate internal technical discussions, and drive issue resolution.
Develop project plans, manage priorities across multiple initiatives, and provide regular progress updates to leadership.
Design and execute qualification plans and procedures aligned with customer and industry standards, coordinating with test laboratories as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical design or product development.
Expertise in 3D mechanical design with strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Experience designing and developing temperature, flow, or pressure sensors.
Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Fluid Mechanics, and/or CFD Flow Simulations.
Aerospace or sensor manufacturing background is a strong asset
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
