Responsibilities



Creative Product Development -

Transform concepts into intelligent, parametric 3D designs and precise production-ready drawings, directly influencing product success and customer satisfaction.

Automation & Efficiency Expert

- Use DriveWorks to streamline and automate engineering tasks, significantly reducing turnaround times and boosting accuracy across all design processes.

Team Collaboration

- Partner closely with production, quality, and project management teams, ensuring smooth transitions from design to manufacturing, improving workflow efficiencies.

Documentation Excellence

- Maintain accurate, organized technical documentation, including detailed drawings, BOMs, and clear assembly instructions, enhancing our engineering communication.

Champion of Continuous Improvement

- Identify and propose ongoing design and process enhancements, actively contributing to our culture of innovation and excellence.

Quality & Compliance Leadership

- Ensure all designs meet industry standards, regulatory codes, and internal quality requirements, helping maintain our reputation for reliability and excellence.

Project Management Suppor

t - Provide technical guidance in project planning, timelines, and execution, keeping projects on track and enhancing overall team performance.

Qualifications



Experience in mechanical design using SolidWorks. Solid proficiency with DriveWorks (Solo or Pro). Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, CAD Design, or related discipline. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and tolerancing. Excellent organizational skills and clear communication abilities. Experience with PDM systems is considered an asset.
