Mechanical Assembler

to join our team in

Whitefish, ON

The Position

The Mechanical Assembler acts as part of a cross-functional team on the assembly of off-road tracked vehicles at our manufacturing facility.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Assembly of PowerTraxx brand tracked vehicles; Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair any mechanical issues with new and used machines; Some welding and fabrication; Adhere to all PowerTraxx workplace policies, standards, procedures and safe work practices; and, Other shop, mechanical or general duties as assigned.

Candidate Profile

Experience is not required, apprentices welcome to apply!; Experience working in a machine shop or fabricating environment would be considered a strong asset; Must have ability to lift up to 50lbs; High attention to detail and accuracy; Strong communication skills and ability to work cooperatively with others; and, Strong organization and time management skills.
