Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join their team. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be part of the Production Department supporting assembly and wiring operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong teamwork skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Mechanical Assembler I
Location: Mississauga, ON
Pay Range: $21.00/hr
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
What's the Job?

• Assemble and mount electrical, mechanical, and sub-assembly components onto enclosures, structures, and panels following standard layouts.
• Wire electrical products with basic or standard options according to customer drawings and schematics.
• Perform wiring of electrical products with non-standard options under the guidance of experienced team members.
• Conduct functionality checks, such as continuity testing, to ensure proper assembly.
• Support inventory management through cycle counts and materials procedures, ensuring accurate stock levels.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent (Grade 12 or higher).
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well within a team environment.
• Basic understanding of wiring schematic symbols is an asset.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.
