Reporting to the Production Manager - Custom Switchboards, this position will work as part of a crew to assemble, fit and mount mechanical components into steel switchboard structures. Candidates must have medium to advanced assembly skills and be able to read and follow engineering drawings and models. Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in mechanical assembly using power tools. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and models. Legally eligible to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future. No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must reside within 80 KM of Milton, ON to be considered. Post-secondary education or a technical certificate in a mechanical trade. Experience using Outlook, ADP, Oracle and Inventor. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing processes and Six Sigma Tools. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
