Job Description

Our client, manufacturing and mechanical assembly industry, is seeking a Mechanical Assembler Helper to join their team. As a Mechanical Assembler Helper, you will be part of the mechanical assembly department supporting engineering and assembly teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective teamwork, and excellent communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Mechanical Assembler Helper
Location: Maitland, ON
Pay Range: $20-$22/hr
What's the Job?

• Read and follow fabrication and 3D assembly drawings
• Assemble mechanical components such as piping, pumps, valves, and pressure vessels
• Utilize hand and power tools including drills, grinders, band saws, and small milling machines for assembly and fabrication
• Perform framing, concrete forming, pouring, and general site maintenance as required
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to safety regulations

What's Needed?

• Grade 12 or equivalent; trade school certification in a relevant field is an asset
• Work at Heights and Forklift training are preferred
• Minimum 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding, and industrial equipment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and safety adherence
