Mechanical Assembler
for our Edmonton manufacturing team. This position will report to the Lead Hand/Foreman.

What you will do:
Assemble components of heavy-duty equipment attachments to blueprint and specification
Fit, bolt, and align parts using hand tools, torque wrenches, and pneumatic tools
Install wear parts, pins, bushings, hydraulic hoses, fittings, valves, and cylinders
Read and interpret fabrication drawings, hydraulic schematics, and BOMs
Perform hydraulic function checks and troubleshoot issues such as leaks or fitting problems
Operate overhead cranes, jib cranes, and forklifts to move heavy parts safely
Inspect assemblies for correct fit, function, finish, and alignment, ensuring all torque specifications are met
Maintain tools and assembly equipment in safe working order, reporting defects promptly
Follow all company safety procedures, including PPE, lockout/tagout, and safe lifting practices
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area
Collaborate with team members to ensure quality and on-time project completion
Performs other related duties as required
Your qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Overhead crane and forklift experience
Minimum 6 months manufacturing experience
Minimum 6 months installing hydraulic systems
Proven track record in safety and quality
What you bring to the position:
Advanced knowledge of general safety practices
In-depth knowledge of all tools and equipment and their use and care
Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively and cooperatively with others
Time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs
Excellent safety record
