Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Schedule: 11+ Hours per day (day shift), 5 & 2, OT after 8hr/day or 44hr/week Location: Shop: 9175 \xe2\x80\x93 14 Street NW, Edmonton, AB

Requirements:

• Full Complement of Hand Tools
• Personal Reliable Vehicle
• CSA approved steel toed boots with 6\xe2\x80\x9d ankle support

Pre-employment:

• Drug and alcohol testing which may be swab or urine depending on site requirements
• Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation
• Fitness to Work Assessment

Lead Hand \xe2\x80\x93 Heavy Equipment Technician Qualifications:

• Must be a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician with Red Seal \xe2\x80\x93 Off Road or equivalent
• Must have between (5) and (10) years\' Journeyperson experience
• Must have previous supervisory experience
• Off Road experience is REQUIRED
• Must be proficient with CAT E.T., S.I.S., Komatsu, Prosis and Service Advisor
• Ability to read/troubleshoot and diagnose using hydraulic and electronic schematics
• Must be open to new learning experiences
• Exceptional organization and cleanliness skills are REQUIRED

Lead Hand \xe2\x80\x93 Heavy Equipment Technician - Shop Responsibilities:

• Supervisions of H.E.T.\xe2\x80\x99s to ensure schedules and timelines are met
• Assist H.E.T.\xe2\x80\x99s with troubleshooting
• Ensure equipment is maintained at the highest standards, in a timely manner
• Conduct performance and quality checks according to procedure
• Promote, execute and adhere to the company\xe2\x80\x99s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture
