Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational performance. Duties

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques Repair or replace faulty components, including belts, gears, bearings, and hydraulic systems Utilize hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex problems and develop effective solutions Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades as needed

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc. Experience with power tools including drills, grinders, and impact wrenches Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams accurately Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team Prior experience in industrial or manufacturing settings is preferred

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $16.00-$48.25 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week
