Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Marine Mechanic

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining marine engines, propulsion systems, and related equipment. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair marine engines and related mechanical systems. Diagnose electrical and fuel system issues using diagnostic tools and equipment. Install and service marine propulsion systems, steering systems, and hydraulic components. Conduct performance tests and sea trials to ensure proper operation. Maintain accurate service records and documentation of repairs. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards. Provide technical advice and support to customers regarding maintenance and repairs.

Qualifications

Post secondary education or 2 years of mechanical experience Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Proficient in using diagnostic tools and mechanical equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Physical ability to lift heavy parts and work in varying weather conditions. Valid driver's license

Assets

Strong knowledge of marine engines, propulsion systems, and electrical components.
