Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining street sweepers. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and proficiency with hand tools and power tools.

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment Diagnose mechanical issues accurately and efficiently Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools and power tools Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery as needed Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times

Experience

Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role involving machinery repair and maintenance Strong mechanical knowledge across various systems and equipment Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc. Experience using power tools for repair and maintenance tasks Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency Prior experience in industrial or manufacturing settings is preferred but not required
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $27.72-$47.03 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
