Job Description


Armour is currently hiring a Licensed or Apprentice Mechanic and Reefer or Trailer Technician in Moncton, New Brunswick.What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do and Need:Licensed Mechanic

  • As an Advanced Licensed/MasterTech mechanic you will service and maintain our transport fleet of equipment.
  • Previous experience as a leader and support for apprentices and journeyman with strong diagnostic skills.

Apprentice Mechanic
  • As an Apprentice, you will assist with the maintenance of our transport fleet of equipment.
  • Work in a Team Environment: A fun, fast-paced, and supportive company culture.
Reefer Technician
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in transport and refrigeration required.
  • Background working on Carrier Reefers an asset.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Able to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair truck and trailer refrigeration units.
Trailer Technician
  • Performs preventative and scheduled maintenance on equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment to manufacturers\xe2\x80\x99 specs
  • Write explanations of work performed, review work orders.
  • Charge out all parts used for the specific task
  • Licensed Commercial Trailer Technician Certification would be an asset
  • Licensed or apprentice as a Heavy-Duty Technician would be an asset
  • Knowledge of Heavy Truck Garage safety principles and behaviours
  • Experience in fabrication, welding, and/or tailgate repairs is an asset
  • Valid Class 5
