Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational performance. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Mechanic will play a vital role in minimizing downtime and ensuring safety standards are met across our facilities.

Responsibilities

Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques Perform repairs and maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate Use hand tools and power tools effectively for disassembly, repair, and reassembly tasks Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed Follow safety protocols and ensure all work complies with safety regulations Assist in the installation of new equipment or machinery as needed Collaborate with other maintenance staff to prioritize repair tasks and improve operational efficiency

Qualifications

Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar maintenance role with a red seal Strong mechanical knowledge of industrial machinery and systems Proficiency with hand tools and power tools required for repair work Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently and accurately Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team Good communication skills to report issues clearly and follow instructions effectively Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks safely

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $27.00-$35.00 per hour
