Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Meat Cutter to join our team in the food industry. As a Meat Cutter, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of safety and quality while maintaining efficient production processes.

Responsibilities

Perform meat cutting, trimming, and portioning according to specifications. Ensure all products are packaged correctly for display or distribution. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tools, and equipment. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines throughout all processes. Operate and maintain various meat processing equipment with mechanical knowledge. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the manufacturing process. Monitor inventory levels of meat products and supplies, reporting any shortages or issues.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a butchery or food service environment is an asset. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Ability to work efficiently and quickly in a fast-paced environment. Good organizational skills and communication skills. Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
