Job Description
:
We are a wholesale distributor of meat, produce, and groceries, seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to assist with meat packaging and preparation, ensuring products are properly wrapped, labeled, and ready for timely delivery to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Package and wrap meat products using butcher paper or vacuum sealers Accurately label and mark products for individual customer orders Ensure all items are correctly prepared and ready for delivery on schedule Assist in assembling and organizing customer orders in the warehouse Occasionally shop for grocery items or supplies as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area Follow food safety and handling guidelines at all times
Qualifications:
Prior experience in meat handling, packaging, or food service is an asset Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Ability to lift and move boxes and supplies as part of warehouse duties Flexibility to help in various tasks as needed A valid Full G driver's license is a strong asset
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
