Packaging:
+ Weighing, wrapping, and packaging meat products for display or customer orders.
+ Ensuring that all products are properly labeled with correct information (weight, price, and expiration date).
Stocking and Merchandising:
+ Stocking packaged meat products in the display cases.
+ Ensuring that the display area is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing to customers.
+ Rotating products to ensure older stock is used first (first-in, first-out method).
Quality Control:
+ Inspecting meat products for freshness and ensuring they meet the store's quality standards.
+ Disposing of any expired or spoiled products according to health and safety regulations.
Health and Safety Compliance:
+ Adhering to food safety standards, including proper sanitation and hygiene practices.
+ Ensuring equipment is properly cleaned and maintained according to store policy.
Customer Service:
+ Assisting customers with inquiries about meat products and helping them find specific cuts or types of meat.
+ Taking special orders or custom packaging requests from customers.
Inventory Management Support:
+ Assisting with inventory checks and reporting low stock or issues to the Meat Department Manager or Director.
