to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a meat department. As a Meat Department Cleaner, you'll be working behind the scenes to ensure quality and cleanliness!
Schedule Requirements:
Ability to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays
Shifts are typically Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday
Ability to work 32-40 hours per week
What you'll be doing:
You'll work in the Meat department - prepping, packaging, wrapping and/or applying price stickers to items.
Ensure proper handling and storage of all meat products
Receive and unload cases of meat, fresh produce and/or grocery product
Help customers navigate their way through the store and find the products they need
Remove expired products from shelves in a timely manner
End of day clean up procedure, including disassembling equipment, sanitizing and reassembling equipment
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment and back shop
Other duties as assigned
About you:
Meat product knowledge considered an asset
A strong work ethic and "let's get it done" attitude
You like to work by yourself, but even better you like to work with a team
Able to stand for prolonged periods, as well as lifting up to 45kg (100lb)
You like to get paid every Friday!
Understands food safety practices and local regulations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
