Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and motivated Deli Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, prepare and serve deli products, fresh pork meat and maintain a clean and organized work environment. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a retail setting and are committed to delivering a positive shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their selections at the deli counter Prepare, slice, and package deli meats and products according to company standards Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli area, including equipment and work surfaces Ensure all products are properly labeled and stocked on shelves or display cases Handle customer transactions accurately at the register and process payments efficiently Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times Restock supplies as needed to ensure the deli area remains well-stocked throughout the shift Assist in inventory management, including receiving deliveries and rotating stock

Requirements

Previous experience in food service, butcher shop or retail is a plus but not required; training will be provided Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if needed A positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn new skills

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
