Who We're Looking For:
We are seeking an experienced and gracious
Maitre D'/Host
to be the face of our upscale dining establishment who sees hospitality as a craft -- a professional who is passionate about guiding guests through an unforgettable experience, which starts the moment they walk through the door, a true hospitality professional.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome all guests with warmth and professionalism
Manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow using OpenTable
Oversee the dining room seating chart to optimize guest experience and server efficiency
Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations
Handle special guest requests, including VIP accommodations and last-minute changes
Uphold the highest standards of service, appearance, and discretion
Ideal candidates will:
Have
at least 2 years of experience
in upscale or fine dining environments hosting/ server assistant
Wine Knowledge; Niagara and Italian Wines an asset
Bring
European charm and poise
to every interaction
Feel comfortable in a setting where genuine hospitality and thoughtful service matter more than rigid steps of service
Be deeply curious and knowledgeable about food, wine, and seasonal cooking
Thrive in a creative, fast-paced team environment
