Position Summary:
MSA is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic High School Physics and Math Teacher to teach physics courses in accordance with the Ontario curriculum and inspire students' curiosity about the world around them.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver engaging lessons in Physics and Math that align with the Ontario curriculum.
Design assignments, labs, and assessments that encourage hands-on learning.
Assess student performance and provide individualized feedback.
Foster a classroom environment that supports inquiry and academic growth.
Maintain communication with students, parents, and staff to support learning outcomes.
Participate in school meetings and contribute to the academic community.
Qualifications:
Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) designation is required.
Bachelor's Degree in Education or Science-related field.
Solid understanding of the Ontario secondary physics curriculum.
Strong communication, organization, and instructional skills.
Previous high school teaching experience preferred.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Mississauga, ON L5B 2N5
