Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated High School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment that fosters student engagement and academic success. This role requires strong communication skills, creativity in lesson planning, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.

Duties

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and observations. Provide individualized support to students to enhance their learning experience. Foster a classroom environment that encourages respect, collaboration, and active participation. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding academic performance and behavior. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create interdisciplinary projects and initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject area; Master's degree preferred. Valid teaching certification or licensure for high school education. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds. Experience in classroom management techniques is a plus. Proficiency in using technology for teaching purposes is desirable.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
