Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable

Math Tutors for Grades 8-12

with a strong understanding of the

BC curriculum

.

Tutors must be available for

in-home sessions

within the Surrey/Delta region and nearby communities.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one tutoring in math (Grades 8-12, including Foundations, Pre-Calculus, and senior-level math) Adapt lessons and teaching approaches to suit different learning styles and needs. Create a patient, structured, and supportive learning environment Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and next steps Submit session reports after each lesson to track goals and achievements
Qualifications

Experience tutoring or teaching high school math (required) Strong subject knowledge in Math (Grades 8-12) Patient, encouraging, and able to connect well with students Reliable and professional; experience supporting diverse learning needs is an asset Education Assistant / Special Education Assistant (EA/SEA) experience is an asset

BC Teacher certification preferred but not required

-- strong applicants with university-level math or science backgrounds (BSc students, graduates) will also be considered

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$34.00 per hour
