We welcome applicants who can commit to the position, even if they are available for only minimal hours in the Fall and into the new year . Please indicate your availability in your application.

Flexible Scheduling Options:

Option 1 (preferred):

Full availability, all days and hours during the week --

22 hours/week

Option 2:

At least 3-4 full days, a combination of Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:

Teach math to students from Grade 1 to 12 using the proven Mathnasium Method. Bring energy and creativity to effectively communicate new concepts to students. Interact with parents on an occasional basis, providing updates and addressing concerns. Support teaching efforts with administrative assistance and other assigned tasks.

Qualifications We Seek:

Exceptional math skills (in-house assessment will be conducted). Excellent communication and multi-tasking abilities. Reliable and professional demeanor. Ability to interact professionally with both students and parents. Energetic, caring, and confident personality. Strong team player who enjoys collaborating with others. Ability to understand and follow provided guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Creative, fun, and confident personality. Proficiency in teaching upper-level high-school Canadian math courses (Grades 9-12). Motivational skills to inspire students to embrace new concepts in a positive environment. Previous experience working with children (teaching, tutoring, coaching, etc.) is a plus. University graduate or student with a strong emphasis on math. Educators, pre and post OCT, are highly encouraged to apply.

We offer flexible mid-afternoon to early evening hours from Monday to Friday, with earlier start times on Saturdays during the regular school-year months. Additionally, during the summer, we provide early time slots on certain days to cater to varying schedules.

Note: This position may require instructors to work at both of our locations in Oakville on certain days (only if applicable)
