Job Overview
U-Wing Education is seeking an experienced
Math Competition Instructor
to teach advanced math and prepare students for major North American math contests.Duties
Teach math competition courses such as:
AMC
,Math Kangaroo
,Caribou
,Gauss
, and other contest programsProvide tutoring for higher-level math courses:
Pre-Calculus 12, Calculus 12, AP Calculus, AP Precalculus
Prepare structured lesson plans and assign practice problems Track and evaluate student learning progress Offer feedback and communicate with parents when needed
Skills
Familiar with major North American math competitions (AMC, Kangaroo, Caribou, Gauss, etc.) Prior experience teaching math contests required;
Having coached award-winning students is a strong asset
Able to teach high school senior mathematics (Pre-Calculus 12, Calculus 12, AP classes) Strong mathematical background with excellent problem-solving skills Clear communication; patient and responsible with students Teaching experience with small groups or 1-on-1 is preferred English required;
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $35.00-$55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 - 20 per week
