We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and tutoring, particularly in subjects such as Math and English. This role involves working with students of various ages, providing personalized instruction to enhance their understanding and academic performance. The Tutor will create a supportive learning environment that fosters growth and confidence in students.
Duties
Provide small group tutoring sessions tailored to the individual needs of students.
Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly to ensure effective learning outcomes.
Communicate regularly with director's regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student engagement and motivation.
Collaborate with other educators to support students with special education needs when necessary.
Qualifications
Experience working with children in an educational setting is essential.
Proven tutoring experience, preferably in Math, English or related subjects.
Strong teaching skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in an understandable manner.
Classroom experience is highly desirable, especially in diverse learning environments.
Knowledge of special education practices is a plus, enabling support for students with unique learning needs.
