We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Materials & Supply Chain Coordinator to manage raw material planning, inventory, supplier coordination, and logistics support across our operations. This role works closely with production, sales, quality, logistics, and suppliers to ensure materials are available on time, cost-effective, and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
Material Planning & Inventory Management
Review customer orders and production schedules to determine material requirements.
Monitor warehouse inventory daily and conduct physical inventory checks.
Plan and place weekly and monthly raw material orders based on production needs.
Calculate material requirements for regular, promotional, and seasonal products.
Support inventory counts and prepare month-end inventory reports for accounting.
Maintain inventory records for raw materials and finished goods as required.
Logistics & Transportation Coordination
Arrange inbound and outbound transportation for raw materials.
Schedule and manage pickup and delivery appointments
Ensure all receiving paperwork is prepared and distributed to relevant teams.
Maintain clear communication with the shipping and warehouse teams.
Supplier & Cost Management
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and follow up to ensure on-time deliveries.
Address material shortages, defects, and quality issues, securing credits or replacements.
Monitor pricing trends and negotiate material costs when needed.
Source new suppliers to improve pricing and supply reliability.
Manage commodity contracts by reviewing market trends and futures pricing.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Production, Sales, Product Development, Quality, Logistics, and Costing teams.
Share forecasts and updates on new, seasonal, and promotional products.
Coordinate material needs during shortages across multiple facilities.
Support labeling updates, sample sourcing, and documentation requirements.
Quality & Compliance
Maintain required raw material documentation and compliance files (including RSPO).
Support audits, mock recalls, and quality-related documentation requests.
Qualifications
Experience in materials planning, supply chain, procurement, or inventory management
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with inventory systems, spreadsheets, and documentation
Experience working with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
