Job Description
SHELTER HOME SYSTEMS
MATERIAL HANDLER
REPORTING TO:
Primary: Purchasing ManagerDUTIES (to include but not limited to):
1) Adhere to SRI Homes - Estevan Receiving Policies and Procedures
2) Perform quality and quantity inspections on incoming goods
3) Unload product after inspection is complete
4) Fill shipping orders
5) Perform fork lift safety checklists
6) Maintain material in a clean and organized fashion
7) Address critical stock or receiving situations immediately
8) Control material to production line
9) Assist with inventory control
10) Assist with monthly inventory
11) Ensure materials are stored in a safe and efficient manner
13) Report any deviations with SWP.035 Forklift Safety immediately to the purchasing Supervisor or manager
14) Report material damage / waste to Purchasing Manager
15) Ship return orders back to supplier and follow return order policy
16) Ship all vendor owned containers back to the supplier
17) Submit cost savings ideas to Purchasing Manager
18) Follow SWP.035 Forklift Safety rules
19) Report material damage / waste to Purchasing

Forklift: 1 year (preferred)
