ATCO Structures & Logistics is looking for a Material Handler/Forklift Operator to join our Calgary Manufacturing Plant. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with Material Handling activities within our Calgary Manufacturing facility, where we design and build modular buildings. This is a full-time permanent role.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the organization of assigned areas and materials.
  • Operate Forklift and unload incoming shipments from transport trailers.
  • Process receiving paperwork such as packing slips and bills of lading.
  • Deliver materials to workstations and storage locations.
  • Complete inventory consumption on all inventory transactions relocations.
  • Assist with garbage and recycling removal process.
  • Support the Production team with line moves as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to work scheduled shift from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm (Monday to Friday), but flexibility may be required at times to work 8:00 to 4:30 pm.
  • Certified Forklift Operator License is desirable.
  • Previous Forklift and warehouse experience are desirable.
  • Knowledge and experience with material-receiving processes and cycle counts.
  • Computer/smartphone literacy on a level of a confident user with the ability to install and set up a smartphone app, work with ERP-system on a computer and smartphone app, communicate with IT support and follow their guidance to resolve IT issues.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
This position has been identified as risk/safety-sensitive and will require the completion of pre-employment medical, alcohol, and drug testing. In addition, final candidates will be required to undergo a Criminal Record Check.
