Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented

Material Handler

to join our manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within a dynamic production environment. The ideal candidate will take initiative, maintain strong organization skills, and support the efficient flow of materials through the shop.

Key Responsibilities

Kitting hardware and materials

for specific jobs to ensure readiness for production and installation.

Preparing and staging materials

for upcoming fabrication and assembly tasks.

Maintaining organized storage areas

to support smooth workflow and easy access to inventory.

Performing regular cycle counts

and assisting with inventory control.

Coordinating material movement

between departments as required.

Supporting shop floor organization and cleanliness

, ensuring a safe and efficient workspace. Assisting with loading/unloading deliveries and verifying incoming materials against packing slips.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment (an asset but not required). Forklift certification is required. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes. Comfortable using basic hand tools and handling materials safely. Positive attitude, reliability, and eagerness to learn.
