About the Role
Material Handler I is an entry-level role responsible for supporting warehouse and production operations. This position ensures accurate movement, staging, and documentation of materials while upholding IWG's AS9100 quality standards and safety expectations.
What You'll Do
Move materials between warehouse, staging, and production workstations.
Load, unload, and store materials using manual handling equipment (pallet jacks, carts, etc.).
Assist with receiving tasks such as labeling, sorting, and basic visual inspections.
Support cycle counts and inventory accuracy activities.
Prepare and stage materials for production based on pick lists and production requirements.
Maintain correct labeling and identification of materials.
Assist with outbound shipments and packaging activities.
Follow IWG safety standards, PPE requirements, and 5S practices.
Report shortages, damaged materials, or discrepancies promptly.
What You Bring
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in manufacturing or aviation environments is an asset.
Ability to read and follow written instructions, labels, and pick lists.
Basic computer skills with willingness to learn ERP system transactions.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
