Position Overview

Decora Powder Coatings is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Material Handler to join our growing logistics team. This position plays an integral role in supporting both our vertical and horizontal powder coating lines and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across production and shipping.

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment. Experience with forklifts, combi-lifts, or truck-mounted forklifts will be considered a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate forklifts, combi-lifts, and other handling equipment to move and organize materials.*
Support material flow for both powder coating lines and assist the shipping department with order staging, wrapping, and load preparation.*
Load and unload trucks, verify shipment accuracy, and coordinate with drivers and carriers.*
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.*
Follow all company safety procedures and report hazards immediately.*

Qualifications

2 years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environment (required).*
Valid forklift license / combi lift license, with at least 2+ years of experience handling materials in a manufacturing setting.*
Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.*
Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to lift up to 50 lbs.*
Experience with truck-mounted forklifts is a strong asset.*

Compensation

Hourly Rate:

$23.00 to start
