UCH is looking for a full time

Material Handler

position. This is an onsite position in our Port Coquitlam location.

WHAT'S THE JOB ABOUT?

Reporting to the Itemizer, the Material Handler position is responsible to support the Hardware Itemizing Department to ensure the efficient flow of hardware and allocate all hardware in the department.

Some of the work you will do, but not limited to:

Assist in locating and labelling and setting up of hardware for Production Department Assist in preparation of outgoing shipments of material to job sites Maintain and update accurate inventory records Assist in shipping various types and weights of doors to job sites Organize hardware itemizing department to optimize space utilization Other duties as assigned

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE LIKE YOU WHO HAS:

Physically fit to do heavy, repetitive and labour intensive work Knowledge of operating forklift is an asset Knowledge of door and hardware is an asset Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) Strong MS Office Suite, especially in excel Excellent attention to detail Strong troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and work as a team Strong organizational and time management skills
