If you are someone who wants to make a difference, then this is the opportunity for you!Positions Overview: To support our ongoing growth, we are currently looking for a Material Handler to join our Team. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Material Handler is responsible for the following Duties: Perform the daily functions of material handling and inventory management Operate the forklift and perform pre-use inspections Deliver raw materials to machines based on production requirements Shunt product between facilities using straight truck and record inventory transfers Perform inventory and cycle counts Perform shipping and receiving functions Perform reporting functions Assist with the segregation of nonconforming product as needed Ensure the work area is clean and safeQualifications: A successful Materials Coordinator will possess: Ability to work 12-hour shifts and shift work, including weekends Demonstrates good punctuality and attendance Class 5 driver's license Previous experience in a shipper/receiver role, and can operate a forklift Familiar with material handling and shipping/receiving practices Previous experience in a manufacturing environment an asset Experience with an ERP system an asset Can work with minimal supervision Self-motivated and positive attitude Ability to lift 20kgs CSA certified safety shoes are required in the production area.
