Tasks

Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products Weigh materials and goods Make labels and attach to goods Wrap goods Pack and unpack goods Sort, crate and stack goods Transport and distribute materials and goods Organize and maintain inventory Organize inventories using computerized inventory control systems Hazardous products handling and storage Weigh resins, colorants and other chemicals according to formulae Record production information and complete reports Prepare bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents Perform preventive maintenance Observe panel indicators and equipment to detect malfunctions Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment Check products for quality and other specifications Analyze and interpret data Clean and maintain work space Maintain work areas MS Office Check, calibrate and perform routine maintenance to equipment Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met Help with scheduling and workflow Communicate with other workers to co-ordinate the preparation and completion of work assignments Ensure safety procedures are followed Record observations
