SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: -ensure that finished goods are strapped, rapped and labeled correctly per customers specifications and supply dunnage for all molding machines MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: -monitor grinders and regrind loading systems to ensure they are functioning correctly. -ensure all start-up scrap is taken to grinding room and ground up by the end of shift. -ensure good housekeeping practices are maintained. -tag each completed skid with the correct Bar code label. -move finished goods production from the production area to the staging area for finished goods to be received into the warehouse. -other duties as assigned by the Shift leader AUTHORITY LEVEL (if applicable): EDUCATION: Required: Able to read and write English or French Minimum high school education Preferred: na Work Conditions Plant EXPERIENCE: Required: Minimum (1) year working experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Preferred: Plastics experience SKILLS: Required: Completion of Material handler\xe2\x80\x99s Training course in-house GMP/GDP Forklift Certification Training Safety Training Good mechanical aptitude Team Player LIMITATIONS & DISCLAIMER: The above job description is meant to describe the general nature and level of work being performed; it is not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required for the position.
