CleanEarth Industrial Services is adding full-time Material Handlers to their safety-oriented team in Enfield NS. THE OPPORTUNITY Material Handlers are responsible for processing waste materials (such as used oil filters and aerosol cans) for disposal, sort of waste materials and perform labour. Typically, 40 hours per week, shift work, days. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Comply with all safe work practices, policies, and act is a safe manner at all times to ensure the Health and Safety of the work environment; Use specialized equipment to process waste materials for disposal; Sort waste materials; General equipment and shop clean-up and maintenance Maintain daily logs, worksheets, timecards Communicates with dispatchers and supervisors throughout the day; Work as part of a team with customers, coworkers and supervisors QUALIFICATIONS Entry level position \xe2\x80\x93 no experience needed, we will provide training Regulatory safety tickets are considered an asset (e.g. First Aid with CPR, H2S, Confined Space Entry); Ability to perform heavy lifting repeatedly; Maintain clean work space; Ability to work with minimal supervision, in a team and in a safety focused environment; Ability to work outside in various weather conditions for extended periods of time; Proudly locally owned and operated, CleanEarth is a full-service industrial cleaning and waste management services company.
