In November 2022, Latecoere completed the acquisition of Canadian-domiciled Avcorp Industries, becoming Latecoere's Aerostructures Canadian unit.

The Material Handler is a unionized role. This person will ship and receive inventory, track materials, audit, and collaborates with other departments to ensure smooth flow of materials.

RESPONSIBILITIES



Material handling, receiving, inventory control, expediting, material tracking, auditing, and troubleshooting in a computerized environment. Ships, receives, stores and moves material using motorized and manual material handling equipment, hand tools and other equipment. Assists in coordinating with various departments to expedite and complete production activities and the planning, preparing, issuing and controlling of material requirements and production schedules to avoid delays.

QUALIFICATIONS



High School Diploma preferred, post secondary training will be considered an asset Strong computer skills required, knowledge of BaaN System would be an asset Previous experience as a material handler in a manufacturing environment preferred Must be a team player and flexible Familiar with production processes, particularly MRP II, ERP and JIT systems Must be detail oriented and have above average analytical skills Be able to do repetitive lifting Sidewinder/ forklift and crane experience an asset Hazardous goods training would also considered an asset Shift timing may require to start from 8:00 am to 5:00 PM depending on operations requirement.
