For over 30 year's Bidell Gas Compression has been a North American leader in rotating equipment, including gas compression, power generation and pumps.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We currently hiring for the role of

Material Handler at our North Manufacturing Shop in Calgary.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Confirm shipment is delivered in good order (correct location w/ no damage) and sign off on courier waybills accepting ownership of the material

Checking and receiving inbound material to the vendor packing slip/our PO to ensure shipment matches the requirement (including appropriate documentation ie. MTR's, test reports etc.)

Ensuring that all inbound material meets the specifications required (model #'s, serial #'s, set pressures, any PO notes relating to each item)

Using proper labelling/marking techniques appropriate to each item

Completing system transactions to close PO's and issuing material to require unit

Scanning of completed document package for electronic storage

Marking material in our project master booklet for traceability and delivering of goods to the shop/individuals in a timely manner following receipt

Emailing other departments updating product arrival (when required) or notifying of any discrepancies during the receiving process

Using forklift to move deliver material within the warehouse or to the shop as needed

Daily housekeeping

Any additional tasks that are requested/required by the team lead or supervisor as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Forklift ticket is an asset
