The Opportunity

The Materials Handler coordinates, expedites and ensures the uninterrupted flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between departments, according to production and shipping schedules or department priorities.

Responsibilities

Locate and distribute materials to specified production areas Record and maintain inventory of quantity and type of materials and parts received, stocked, and distributed Compile and maintain inventory and production records Examine material received, verify part numbers, engineering codes, and check for discrepancies

Qualifications

High School Diploma Experience and/or training in Inventory and Materials Management preferable Ability to maintain effective communication both internally and externally to support outstanding customer service Organizational skills and attention to detail
