NWI Precision is seeking an ideal candidate to fill the role of Material Handler/Forklift Operator reporting to the Lead Hand of Logistics & Material Handling. This role will mainly be responsible to ensure the safe and efficient operation of material handling equipment and the movement of product within the facility. Reviews shipping notices, bills of lading, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: \xc2\xb7 Load, unload products from trucks and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment \xc2\xb7 Operate a variety of equipment to move materials and products within the manufacturing facility. \xc2\xb7 Verifying, Receiving and labeling all incoming materials and products and distributing them to the appropriate areas. \xc2\xb7 Inspect material handling equipment for defects and notifies maintenance personnel for repair \xc2\xb7 Determine space requirements and position of shipment in trucks and lays out position of shipment \xc2\xb7 Maintain the condition of forklift to ensure its daily operation will not compromise the health and safety of workers \xc2\xb7 Assist the shipping team with preparing, packaging, and labeling of products to be transported. \xc2\xb7 Assist with unpackaging products, gathering shipping/receiving documents related to transaction and moving materials to and from the machining centres. \xc2\xb7 Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma
• Previous Forklift Certification is an asset
