Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Material Coordinator to join our team. The Material Coordinator will be responsible for managing the flow of materials throughout the production process, ensuring that all materials are available when needed to meet production schedules. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to optimize inventory levels and maintain efficient operations.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the supply of materials to the production lines for manufacturing. Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy in stock records. Collaborate with production teams to forecast material needs based on production schedules and demand. Prepare and maintain documentation related to material usage, inventory transactions, and supplier performance. Assist in identifying areas for process improvement within material handling and inventory management. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies regarding material handling.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in supply chain management or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in material coordination, inventory management, or supply chain logistics is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word). Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on inventory trends and production needs. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong analytical skills. Pay: $18.47-$22.18 per hour
