About the Toronto Cricket Skating and Curling Club:

Located in North Toronto, the Club consists of more than 4,000 members, with a strong presence in the local social and sporting community.

We're seeking a passionate and experienced Masters Swim Coach on a contract position to lead our small, boutique-style adult swim group. With typically no more than 5 swimmers per session, this is a unique opportunity to provide personalized coaching in a supportive, community-focused environment. Classes will run from September to June, every Tuesday and Thursday 7pm-8pm.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and lead engaging, technique-focused swim workouts tailored to a range of adult swimmers, from fitness enthusiasts to former competitive swimmers. Foster a positive and inclusive environment where all participants feel motivated and supported. Provide stroke correction, training advice, and performance feedback as appropriate. Ensure a safe and enjoyable swimming experience for all participants.

Qualifications

At least one (1) year of previous coaching or competitive swimming experience required Current CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguarding certifications (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication skills and a friendly, encouraging demeanor Ability to work independently and responsibly Must be available Tuesdays and Thursdays 7pm-8pm for classes
