Position Overview


As a

Social Worker

, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive counselling and therapeutic services to Veterans. Your clinical expertise, empathy, and professionalism will help ensure that every individual feels understood, supported, and empowered in their recovery journey.###

Key Responsibilities:



Delivering high-quality clinical care using modalities such as

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

,

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

, and M

indfulness-Based Approaches

. Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, session notes, and relevant client communications. Upholding professional standards and ethical guidelines as outlined by the

PEI College of Social Workers

. Collaborating with clients to develop individualized therapeutic goals that promote mental health and resilience. Engaging in ongoing professional development and peer consultation to ensure best practices and evidence-informed care.

Qualifications:



Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW)

from an accredited university.

Registered and in good standing with the PEI College of Social Workers.

Minimum of

5 years of clinical experience

working with adults experiencing PTSD, trauma, anxiety, or addiction. Foundational training or certification in

CBT and/or DBT

preferred. Demonstrated experience working with Veterans or first responder populations is an asset.
