As a manager you will be working with and leading our existing team members. You will be expected to learn and perform duties such as assisting customers, using a POS system, product displays, merchandising, maintaining store cleanliness and product freshness. Our philosophy is that we would not ask our team to do anything we wouldn't do ourselves, first learn how to work in the store before you can manage it. The ideal leader in our store both believes in a healthy work life balance but enforcing accountability, we love our casual atmosphere but to maintain that every team member has a job to do!
Manager duties would include, inventory management (ordering product and checking in orders upon arrival), team management, scheduling, task assignment, maintaining store appearance to mention a few. Additionally the manager will work with the owners to evolve and improve the business and contribute ideas, managers contribute and are part of the success of the business and will be heard.
If you love learning, like a fast-paced environment, are candy crazy and enjoy people this could be a perfect opportunity to acquire some great experience.
Successful candidates will need to have:
- Open availability (shifts will be a mix of opening and closing as well as weekends)
- have reliable transportation
- great inter-personal skills
- strong desire to learn
- Value team work and enjoy working with others
- Previous manager experience
