Job Description

Optimal Air is seeking an experienced Master Electrician for commercial & industrial work.

The candidate will be responsible for completing service calls and project work. We complete design-build & bid spec projects in commercial & industrial applications such as warehouses, offices, restaurants, medical buildings, long term care homes, retail, etc.

Duties

Be the designated Master Electrician for the company. Lead and train junior electricians & apprentices on proper trade practices and safe working practices Complete electrical installation, renovation, and repair projects from start to finish in commercial & industrial applications such as retail, daycares, restaurants, offices, medical buildings, etc. Complete electrical service calls in the above noted settings to restore electrical power to devices, buildings, spaces, etc. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems. Run conduit, wire, pvc, install devices and fixtures Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks related to electrical work. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical systems Ensure all work is performed in accordance with the electrical code, regulations. Complete work in a safe manor Guide and train apprentices on best practices Work in collaboration / coordination with other trades to complete project scope Completing work orders & timesheets electronically.

Skills

Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics related to electrical systems. Strong knowledge of industrial electrician practices and commercial wiring techniques. Experience with hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment used in electrical work. Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting electrical issues. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
Minimum Requirements:

309A journeyman Master Electrician Clean drivers abstract with G driver license Working at heights Elevated work platform training
