Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in electrical systems, including the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various construction environments including within a modular manufacturing facility and in the field.

Duties

Installation of residential and multi-residential electrical systems and equipment in compliance with local codes and regulations. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation procedures. Create and order material and supply take offs. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete electrical tasks. Troubleshoot electrical issues, including low voltage systems, ensuring timely resolution of problems. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems. Conduct inspections of electrical installations to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior electricians and apprentices as needed.

Experience

Proven experience as an electrician, with a focus on residential settings preferred. Experience with modular housing a significant asset. Strong background in reading blueprints and schematics related to electrical installations. Familiarity with low voltage systems and their applications in various environments. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools specific to electrical work. Solid understanding of construction processes and safety protocols related to electrical installations. Relevant certifications or licenses as required by local regulations are essential for this position.
